Beginning Monday, June 1, 2026, PRWC pipeline construction activities will close Avenue A East from 2nd Street East to 4th Street East. Detour signage will be in place to guide traffic. The road is expected to reopen in 30 days, weather permitting.

Lake Gwyn Park’s north entrance will be closed from 6/1-6/5. The north and south entrance of the park will be used as a detour route on 6/8 and from 6/11-6/15.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and follow all posted detour signs and traffic control devices. Please exercise caution and be mindful of construction personnel, equipment, and changing traffic patterns in the project construction areas.
