Beginning Monday, March 23, 2026, Phase 1 construction activities require closure of Lake Thomas Road in Lake Wales. This work supports the PRWC Southeast Transmission Main – Segment 1 project.  Detour signage will be in place to guide traffic. Work is expected to last 5 days.

Brief traffic holds may occur during active construction. Drivers should plan for alternate routes and follow all posted detour signage and traffic control devices.
